Erected by Cornelius Kennedy of Ardcroney in memory of his father Michael Kennedy who died 22nd April 1866, aged 72. Also his mother Mary Kennedy died 1st May 1870, aged 69. His brother Michael died 26th Dec. 1872, aged 48. And his sister Julia died 5th July 1875, aged 30. Also Cornelius and Julia Kennedy, Ardcroney, and their children Maryann, Annie, Michael died 4th July 1960, aged 80, and his wife Sarah died 9th Nov. 1980, aged 93.
